Are you un-plugged?
If nothing bad is happening to you right NOW - in this moment, as you read these words. Yet your still feeling anxious, worried, stressed, guilty, depressed, negative, or down. It means that your emotions are not grounded in the present moment. Plus, what your body has remembered, is influencing your thoughts.
It really means that emotionally, you have disconnected from this moment - from NOW.
It means that the emotions you have stored in your body and were hardwired into your brain, have taken you back to how you have felt at some point in the past. Or your worried about the future, based on what has happened to you in the past.
Overcoming anxiety is a process as you know, and just like a pizza is made up of many slices. So to is recovery made up of a variety of treatments, steps and stages. However, to my mind, unless your targeting the core of the matter. Its like the engine of your car breaks down and you change the tires to fix the problem.
That’s why I like to focus on giving you new information to help break you out of simply recycling the same thoughts and state of being every day and creating separation between your body, mind and who you really are.
